I served as the Media and Communications Coordinator for Peoples Climate Movement in 2018 and 2019.

During that time I oversaw or conducted all media relations, provided high level communications and political strategic counsel to senior leadership, and authored numerous op-eds and statements for PCM and for its allies and partners.

Supporting the Green New Deal

As excitement about major climate legislation exploded in the wake of the 2018 elections, I conducted media outreach that positioned Peoples Climate Movement as one of the longtime brokers of the broad progressive coalition that was driving the Green New Deal.

Supporting local organizers in the movement for climate, jobs and justice is a key function of the Peoples Climate Movement. As part of that team, I have worked directly with local organizers to develop their arguments into compelling op-eds that I’ve placed in major media in their community, strengthening their profile and building their power.
